Two Days In London

Snowy London! went to see Sweet Charity at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Tamsin Outhwaite was amazing! Food before in theatre restaurant was good. Shopped til we dropped, visited some museums, ate at Wagamama, always a treat as there isn't one near us at home. Trains were on time, hotel was great after being moved from a room with no heating. Good time. We stayed in a mystery hotel, 12 floors, clean, staff very friendly and helpful, ideally situated. Drawbacks are that the walls are rather thin and some guests were noisy (not really the hotels fault) I would stay there again purely due to its location. Breakfast average but plentiful if you want to fill up for a days shopping. We shopped till we dropped on Oxford Street for the large shops and Covent Garden for some interesting independents.Got around by tube and bus, £4.90 for travel card valid all day on both after 9.30am and black cab form hotel to Euston, only £5.50 between us and much easier with lots of bags!.

The hotel was great, ideally situated next to tube, round the corner from Oxford Street. Breakfast was excellent, would stay there again with no hesitation.
