Luckily the staff were great as this was tested quickly as the hotel had no record of our booking. All was fine except the bar area which was quite run down, dated and lacking in atmosphere. The pond and fountain outside were full of fish but looked dirty and the fountain merely dribbled. This being said it was a great stay at a great price and if another deal came along i would return.

The Roebuck Hotel

A customer from York who stayed at 3* The Roebuck Hotel in Ware wrote this review.

Stay Date: 09/07/10

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

Stayed at The Roebuck Hotel to attend a wedding at a nearby hotel. It was easy to find from the motorway with a copious amount of parking. All staff were friendly and check in/out was easy. The room was basic but clean and nice, no air conditioning which meant that evenings were stuffy because, as we were allocated a ground floor room, we didn't want to leave the windows too far open for safety reasons. Breakfast was very busy on the Sunday morning, although we did manage to get an available table, other people were left waiting for others to leave before getting seated. Being only a 3* hotel the continental breakfast selection was limited, but the full English breakfast was of a good quality and choice. All in all the hotel was ideal for our requirements and, if we needed to stay down there again, I would definitely check availability at The Roebuck Hotel as my first port of call.

Short Break

A customer who stayed at 2* Feathers Inn in Ware wrote this review.

Stay Date: 29/06/10

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

Visited Paradise Wildlife Park which was great. Had a wonderful experience there. Stayed at the Feathers Inn, beautiful place, nicely laid out as the hotel rooms were seperate from the pub. Nights meal was great. Didn't sleep at all as it was very hot in the room with tiny windows and no fan provided. Breakfast was nice except for the eggs which were served practically uncooked. Other than that lovely stay.

Best Western Moore Place Hotel

The hotel was fab and would highly recommend it to my mates. Was disappointed in Silverstone. The racing was great but I was not impressed with the views as you were to far away from the track and thought they had a cheek charging to go and stand in the good areas.
