We are a mature couple and stayed in the Corus hotel opposite Hyde Park. It was ideally situated, being near the underground and bus stops, and also within walking distance of many sights. The hotel and staff were excellent and the room, although small, was extremely clean and had all amenities. The breakfast was good and the restaurant, bel canto, within the hotel was a joy with the opera singing waiters and waitresses! very unusual. Our short stay in London was most enjoyable and we will certainly return to stay in the Corus hotel.

Positives: 1.The hotel is in a prime location for walks/meals/visits. 2.The breakfast/general food is good. Negatives: 1.The hotel room is too small although functionable. 2.The hotel room walls are paper thin and you can hear all that is going on next door to you. 3.We had no sleep at all as we had a family next door to us who were talking through the night, I myself then the hotel staff called at their door to shut them up and only then did they quieten down. Then we had a gentleman using his mobile phone in the next room at 4.30am and I got up to tell him to be quiet to which he apologised and he did as requested, how unlucky can you get.

What a lovely hotel and excellently situated opposite Hyde Park. Yes, the room was a little small but very clean, all the frieview channels and a large hairdryer ladies! Didn't need to use the tubes, a 10 min walk through Hyde Park to Oxford Street one way and 10 minutes to Knightsbridge the other way! Had a wonderful short break, no queues at breakfast and staff friendly and helpful. I'm definately going to return!.
