One of London’s premier entertainment areas, Covent Garden and The Strand combine vibrant street entertainment with exclusive designer stores. Visitors can discover the colourful markets and unique boutiques before enjoying a refreshing drink in one of the many cosmopolitan street-side bars and cafes. If that’s not enough culture, then enjoy an evening performance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

A London Break

A customer from SALE who stayed at 4* Kingsway Hall in Covent Garden wrote this review.

Went away for a short break to the capital. Train journey was good and on time. Hotel, Kingsway Hall near Covent Garden, was excellent and superb location. Breakfast was very good. Had meals out of hotel just so we could enjoy the atmosphere around Covent Garden and china town (it was chinese new year). A great break and the show we saw was fantastic.

Theatre Visit

A customer from Nottingham who stayed at 4* Charing Cross-A Guoman Hotel (2 Night Offer) in The Strand wrote this review.

Whilst our partners were sunning themselves in South Africa watching England play cricket we went to London! The Charing Cross hotel was ideally suited for the theatre visits we planned. We walked to them within 10-20 minutes. It was also only a short walk to Covent Garden and only a couple of tube stops to Oxford street/ Regent street. The hotel was good, the staff helpful and the buffet breakfast was varied and filling. Despite it being above Charing Cross railway station there was no noise from it.

Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel

A customer who stayed at 4* Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel in Covent Garden wrote this review.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this hotel, the location is superb. Our only slight grumble is that we upgraded to a suite when we arrived and this was above the bar. All was fine until about 7am when they were obviously cleaning the bar below and moving tables and chairs around dragging them across the floor. The noise woke both of us, so we would definitely ask for a higher floor next time. The staff are delightful and the bar is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We highly recommend this hotel for a weekend theatre break.

Nights Away In London Without The Kids.

A customer from SOUTH HUMBERSIDE who stayed at 4* Kingsway Hall in Covent Garden wrote this review.

Arrived refreshed via first class rail. Dropped the bags in a welcoming hotel. Received an upgrade. Headed straight to the nearest bar, O'neills in Covent Garden. Lovely company and food! had the best nights sleep in years back at the hotel, then a minutes walk the next morning to the Covent Garden shops. The hotel breakfast kept us going until lunch the into one of the many bars and restaurants scattered around. Everything was at our finger tips. Holborn tube spitting distance away. Brilliant. Had an enjoyable evening watching a show. Overall a brilliant break booked with Superbreak.
