Overnight stay for O2 Arena gig

I chose this hotel for basic requirements and low cost. I found more than my expectations and enjoyed stay immensely. Cafe meal was sufficient size and well priced. Access to DLR across road of main entrance, trains very frequent (never waited longer than 10 mins (rare)). Change at Canning Town for Jubilee to O2; only 3 stops inc. change. Ideal on return after concert as most traffic at O2 station is heading in other direction. Can leave bags in hotel lock-up after checkout (no fee), convenient for sightseeing if you have time to kill. Was refused service in Wardour St bar for wearing football shirt so possibly unwise attire if you like a pub visit.

London Short Break

Hotel cheap and basic but good for the short break. Would stay there again. Train station just over the road so ideal for getting into London plus last train returns at 12.15am. Open top bus tour with commentator excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

I visited the 02 arena to see Prince in concert, getting around on the DLR and underground was easy and the hotel basic but acceptable The hotel is in a good position for visiting Greenwich which I did the following morning seeing the Cutty Sark,Maritime Museum & The Royal Observatory.
