Visitors can enjoy shopping, waterside dining and culture in the Museum in Docklands before stopping for a drink in a selection of bars and restaurants around West India Quay. The ExCel exhibition centre, located right on the waterfront, holds a vast range of events and exhibitions.

Good travel by train, hotel very good, excellent bar/restaurant and a superb chinese restaurant, no need to go far when you can eat there. Excellent position for Excel and Docklands railway a nice easy trip to get you into London centre or railway stations.

40th Birthday Weekend In London

I treated my other half to a surprise weekend in London. I chose a good value hotel to ensure I had enough money for some little surprises. Novotel Greenwich is a new hotel, well decorated and clean. The breakfast was fresh, hot and fulfilling. The bar was pleasant and the staff helpful. The only thing that let this hotel down were the rock hard uncomfortable bed ... No sleep for us! I have realised this is a Novotel thing as we staying in Novotel Milton Keynes a few weeks before and had exactly the same experience. Even the travel time from the central attractions is ok for the price. We loved the Grease show and Vinopolis. We had a lovely meal at Rivington just 2 minutes from the hotel. For a special treat we dined at Galvin at Windows at the Hilton Park Lane. Superb food and service. They really spoilt us as I had mentioned the 40th birthday they surprised us with a plate of chocolates with happy 40th birthday piped in chocolate!.

Excellent Stay

Had a great short break over the xmas period. Hotel facilities excellent, staff couldn't do enough for you. Will definately recommend anyone to stay at the Britannia International, Canary Wharf.
