We had a really relaxing break. Everywhere is within easy access of Victoria due to excellent transport. The hotel was of it's usual high standard - wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff, an excellent restaurant where we enjoyed a delightful evening meal. The room was adequate but not of the standard we have experienced here before. Very noisy at night due to traffic and the bathroom was in a poor condition.

2 nights spent in London with 14 yr old daughter. Had lots of shopping time of course - Oxford street and Westfield in Shepherds Bush. Comment from 14yr old was that the shops were too expensive at Westfield and prefers Oxford St and Covent Garden. Saw Sister Act which was excellent far better than I thought it was going to be, and will be taking my boyfriend in a couple of months time. Victoria & Albert museum very good, did fashion through the ages and theatre parts. Couldn't get into Grace Kelly exhibition as all sold out which was disappointing that they hadn't kept allocation for people on day especially as when I left home they weren't on sale on line. All in all a fab few days and the weather was wonderful! A lovely break and the best bit was the hotel.

I booked 2 rooms and was surprised at the differing sizes. One room was nearly twice the size of the other but both were clean. The hotel staff were friendly and polite and extra pillows were not a problem. The hotel was in an excellent position and has a back entry right onto the station plaza where you can obtain very competively priced food and drink from the Wetherspoons pub.

Great value. Return train, good train times and very fast from York. Hotel was great value and what an excellent breakfast, top quality nosh. All for £110 for two day break - smashing!.
