This was my 25th wedding anniversary so a special break was called for. London is great for a short break with plenty to see and enjoy. The hotel was superb for quality and location and made for a special occasion. Can't recommend enough.

My daughter spent her birthday shopping in Covent Garden with a pre show meal at Maxwell's followed by best seats at Oliver.

A visit to London to celebrate my sister's birthday. Hotel picked to be in walking distance of theatre and Covent Garden. Good facilities, would go back again. Excellent weather. Did lots of walking around touristy sights. Show was superb.

We travelled down from Doncaster to London on Saturday morning, arriving at the Kingsway Hall hotel around 12pm. Our room was nice, although there was a stale smell of smoke (it was a non-smoking room) and the view was the back of the hotel which was really grim. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was excellent. Getting around, we bought day savers for the tube which was really useful and my wife really enjoyed this (she doesn't get out much). We saw the Lion King which was great and did the usual touristy things. All in all a very enjoyable, if slightly expensive weekend.

On arrival in London we headed for the eye and received our tickets for the river cruise. We first watched the 3d film which was amazing and then went on the river cruise. It was only spoilt a bit because we could not really understand what the guide was saying but the trip on the eye afterwards was good. We then made our way to our hotel, the room was small but the staff were very welcoming. There was not a lot of variety at breakfast but this could be because we ate late. After shopping in Covent Garden we returned to the hotel where they had held on to our bags which was very useful. We did have a great time together overall. In the evening we went for a meal in a local sushi bar and then went to see We Will Rock You, we were very pleased with the seats that we were allocated.
