Booked a short trip to London for my daughters birthday. Arranged the flights myself through ryainair and the hotel through Superbreak. Never been to London before. The Thistle Hotel was in a excellent location and very easy to find, stayed b&b arrived early were able to leave bags to reception. Purchased a travel card at Marble Arch tube station £5 each and child of 13 £2 excellent service. Visited Madam Tussauds, brilliant. Went to see Wicked, excellent. Went to Harrods and Buckingham Palace. Brilliant trip will return and stay longer next time.

Hotel is idealy situated close to the tube station and an ideal spot to get to all the shops on Oxford Street with just a short 2 minute walk to Selfridges. Hotel is nice and clean rooms were a good size but an off puting smell of smoke on arrival to our room. Bathrooms could do with updating but overall quite satisfying stay.

Hotel overall was very good, found standard room was on the small side. Location for shopping excellent. Purchased a 48hr tour bus pass which we found very useful for getting around London. Victoria and Albert museum worth a visit.
