This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this hotel, the location is superb. Our only slight grumble is that we upgraded to a suite when we arrived and this was above the bar. All was fine until about 7am when they were obviously cleaning the bar below and moving tables and chairs around dragging them across the floor. The noise woke both of us, so we would definitely ask for a higher floor next time. The staff are delightful and the bar is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We highly recommend this hotel for a weekend theatre break.

Excellent Cultural Weekend In London

From arriving in Kings Cross on Friday evening and visiting St Pancras champage bar to Saturday matinee at Les Miserables and topped off with proms in the park we had a wonderful weekend. Thoroughly recommend the Mountbatten hotel in Covent Garden, ideal location for theatreland with plenty to choose of in the way of bars/restaurants in the vicinity.
