Christmas Treat To Self In London

2 friends in London for 2 days. Great hotel location, excellent breakfast, really comfy bed & well equipped single rooms. Highlight was "priscilla" best show we have seen to date-so funny, had everything a musical/show should have. Also fitted in Jersey Boys; trip to vinopolis (would have prefered to be guided around) St Pauls, the globe, tate modern, lots of eating, drinking & shopping-what more could a girl ask for! we did have tickets to dover street music club for live music session but age got the better of us!.

Swan Lake Ballet - Royal Opera House

I went to see the ballet Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Superb show, thoroughly enjoyed it. Hotel located very near by to opera house so not far to travel, comfortable, affordable hotel. Thanks.

The Strand Palace Hotel provides excellent service, currently undergoing refurbishment the staff still provided a high standard of service. The tube strike was on while we were staying there and despite staff being delayed in getting to work, the staff who did get in on time remained cheerful under pressure. Cannot fault the hotel on anything - we now always stay there for our theatre breaks. The seats at the Shaftesbury Theatre - Hairspray - were excellent as was the show.
