Coming from Easington where this story originated, I am biased of course, but it is an emotional show with an excellent cast - not to be missed, that is if you can get a ticket!.

Excellent production with a little known cast. From a slow start the show got better and better. Only criticism is that I did not like the swearing from the children. But did not detract from the overall enjoyment. Highly recommended.

This show was the highlight of the weekend absolutly excellant the young boy playing billy was amazing but so was the rest of the cast. And we also had excellant seats in the forth row centre of the dress circle we had really good unrestricted view.

Beware about going to see this show at the Victoria theatre if you have young children or find unnecessary bad language off putting. Even at the 2.30 matinee there was much use of the F word plus others of a slighly less profane nature from the cast including from children as young as 10-11 years. Otherwise the dancing etc was good but overall was spoilt for me by the language (and I am no shrinkling violet).
