out of 5We came to London for the Lovebox Festival and our hotel was in walking distance of Victoria Park - perfect! The hotel was brilliant value and within minutes of places to eat and have a drink. Great nightlife around Old Street/Hoxton/Shoreditch. Our hotel room was spacious, light and cool (as fan provided). The staff in the hotel were faultless - extremely good at their jobs and willing to help at every opportunity. Breakfast was good - lots to eat but the cooked breakfast was overcooked. The health club facilities were very good and not too busy. All-in-all we enjoyed a wonderful weekend and would, without a doubt, use Superbreak again and book the Thistle hotel.

out of 5Hotel was efficient at check in and even managed to get a parking space. After hours drinks were no problem from the night porter. Hotel location was excellent for East London, our location for a night out.

out of 5We probably picked the worse day of the year to travel down by rail Sun May 30th. The whole of the west coast rail network was disrupted and after diverting via Manchester and Birmingham ( + 1hour train breakdown at Birmingham) we arrived 7 hours later. However the hotel was very good the theatre was excellent and the Oyster travel cards superb. We had a great 4 days and the journey back only took 2.5hrs.
