Weekend to celebrate birthday. Hotel difficult to find, footpath was closed at night, and we had to find alternative route from Paddington station. There were 3 of us in the room, and only two cups, glasses etc. Trying to make staff understand that we needed more of these things proved difficult. Otherwise room was comfortable and warm.

Hotel ideally situatated opposite Hyde Park and very close to Lancaster gate tube station. Hotel very clean, staff pleasant and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Visited Harrods, Camden town, Science museum, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. So easy to visit places using the tubes and we had oyster cards which were great - no standing in queues to buy tickets. We have a fabulous weekend and cannot believe what value for money we got booking our trip with yourselves.

Hotel was excellent. Location was too far to walk to and from Oxford st, but the tube was nearby, however the underground needs renovation. Bed had a window above it which was drafty all night, each night, but the room was comfortable but the clotheshangers in the open plan wardrobe kept falling down. The hotel breakfast was good as was the evening meal and the staff were very friendly so we would return to stay again! Overall marks 8 out of 10.
