Visited Covent Garden and had great time wandering around. Visited theatre and saw Love Never Dies. This was excellent. Then went to hotel. Was quite disappointed as the hotel desperately needs renovating, and there was no tea/coffee making facilities' the view from the window was the car park! Visited camden town and this was very enjoyable. Sat at the lock side, and watched the world go by. Then caught train home.

The hotel was fine but the room we were allocated was outside in a small courtyard. The room was very warm and stuffy. Although an electric fan had been provided, it did nothing to improve the temperature in the room. Air conditioning would have been very welcome! The main attractions in London are interesting but extremely busy. The admission prices, however, were on the steep side. Also, the public transport is very expensive and although we understand that there was a travelcard available, we could not locate where to buy one and no-one could advise us. This made travelling very expensive.

The hotel reception and bar area was lovely; our room was very clean. Our bathroom tiling was a bit tired. The tv in the bedroom was very small. The position of the hotel was excellent for getting around London; Paddington tube station was 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel was also within easy walking distance of Hyde Park; we walked across Hyde Park into Knightsbridge.
